Day 1: Arrival in Tbilisi
Upon your arrival at Shota Rustaveli Tbilisi International Airport, our representative will warmly welcome you and assist in transferring you to your Tbilisi accommodation or hotel.
Day 2: Ananuri-Gudauri Kazbegi Tour
Embark on an exciting Gudauri Kazbegi Tour, departing from Tbilisi. This adventure-filled journey will take you to Stepantsminda (Kazbegi), where you'll marvel at the 14th-century Gergeti Trinity Church and stunning views of Chkheri River, Mount Kazbek, and Darial Gorge. The tour also includes a visit to Ananuri Fortress Complex, Jinvali Water Reservoir, Pasanauri for a glimpse of the confluence of white and black Aragvi Rivers, and the ski resort of Gudauri, perfect for skiing, horseback riding, and paragliding. You'll conclude the day with a 4X4 tour of Gergeti Trinity Church, surrounded by the pristine beauty of Mount Kazbek. Finally, you'll be transferred back to your Tbilisi accommodation.
Day 3: Tbilisi City and Mtskheta Tour
Begin the day exploring Tbilisi with a knowledgeable guide. You'll visit prominent landmarks like the Holy Trinity Cathedral, Metekhi church, and the monument of Vakhtang Gorgasali. Your journey continues to the Old Town, where you'll discover historic sites such as Narikala Fortress, Sulphur Bathhouse District, Sioni Cathedral, and the Peace Bridge. Additionally, you'll enjoy a visit to Rezo Gabriadze Theatre. Following the city tour, a 20-kilometer drive will take you to Mtskheta, the former capital of Eastern Georgia Kingdom. Here, you'll explore UNESCO World Heritage Sites like the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and the Jvari Monastery, which offers breathtaking views of the confluence of the Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers. The day ends with a drop-off at your hotel.
Day 4: Kakheti Wine Region Tour and Departure
After checking out of your hotel, you'll embark on a full-day tour of the Kakheti wine region. Your first stop is the revered Bodbe Monastery, where the tomb of the 4th-century apostle, St. Nino, is enshrined. The serene backdrop of the Caucasus Mountains and St. Nino's spring, believed to have healing properties, make this a tranquil setting.
Next, you'll visit Sighnaghi, a charming town known for its Italian-style architecture, picturesque churches, and the well-preserved Sighnaghi Great Wall. It is often called the 'City of Love' due to its unique wedding house. The tour concludes with a return transfer to Tbilisi, where you'll have dinner. Depending on your flight schedule, your driver will transfer you to Shota Rustaveli Tbilisi International Airport, ensuring a relaxed end to your Georgian adventure.
